The Riverside Life Enrichment Center

Riverside Life Enrichment Center is a vital component of the long-term care options offered to elderly and disabled adults living in the Northeast Kingdom. Riverside provides the necessary services that in many instances, allow our participants to continue living in the community. One caregiver told us, "My mother would have to live in a nursing home if she didn't have Riverside. She lives with me because she can't be left alone. But I have to work full-time. I can focus on my job knowing she is safe and having a good time at Riverside during the day."

In order to continue providing these services, Riverside needs your help. The government has had to make some difficult budget decisions resulting in significant funding cuts to our program. Transportation costs have increased. To continue the same level of services we have now, we will have to raise even more money ourselves. We anticipate continued growth and hope to expand our facility in the near future. Together, we can ensure that we all have a quality Adult Day program as an option when we need it ourselves.
